PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Objectives
- Gain a systemic understanding of change and its impact on people, processes, and outcomes.
- Learn modern Change Management frameworks and methods (ADKAR, Kanban) and be able to apply them in practice.
- Develop leadership competencies for managing resistance, engagement, and team motivation.
- Acquire hands-on experience in change management through business simulations and group exercises.
Course Topics
Fundamentals of Change Management and Systemic Understanding of Change
- The organization as a system: the role of change in organizations. Why do transformations fail?
- Overview of key frameworks: ADKAR (Prosci), Kotter’s model, Lewin’s model.
- Communication during change, the leader’s role as a driver.
- Basics of Spiral Dynamics theory: implementing change at different value levels.
- Practice: group exercise “Resistance Map” (participants simulate the reaction of employees at different levels).
Tools and Leadership in Change Management
- Methods of monitoring change and collecting feedback.
- B. J. Fogg’s Behavior Model: why change only happens when motivation, ability, and trigger align.
- Behavioral psychology: how rewards and positive reinforcement work.
- Methods of engagement: making new behaviors and habits stick.
- Practice: Kanban Pizza Game simulation — team collaboration, system evolution, working with metrics.
Managing and Anchoring Changes
- Practice: business simulation Scrum Lego City (Lego4Scrum) — building a “city,” managing changing requirements in an agile format.
- Discussion: what can be transferred into real projects.
